Jon Reynolds opened his business, Marine Masters, on North Padre Island in 2001 to exceed the repair & maintenance needs of the boating community. Mr. Reynolds has more than 30 years in the marine industry, beginning his career at Ingram Industries and continuing his training/certification at Marine Dynamics, and Island Marine. Jon was first elected to the Island Foundation board in 2014 to serve as the Vice President of Vision & Planning. He has continued to serve on the Board as Seashore Charter Schools Liaison, and Board President. Jon diligently believes in serving his community and providing positive leadership for our youth. Mr. Reynolds volunteered for 2 years on the Padre Island Business Association’s Board and is Assistant Troop Master for Boy Scouts of America Troop 949. He is also an NRA, BSA, and 4H certified shotgun shooting sports coach for Nueces County 4H Trap & Skeet Club. Jon and his family reside on North Padre Island where they enjoy spending time boating, SCUBA diving, and riding motorcycles.

Jaclyn Mahlmann was voted to serve on the Board in April 2021. Jaclyn earned a Bachelors in Finance from Texas A&M University at College Station and a Master of Business Administration from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. She has worked in Higher Education administration for almost 25 years and is a Budget Director for Texas A&M University at College Station's Budget and Planning Office. Jaclyn has previously served as Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and has served as the Treasurer for several non-profits including Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church and Phi Kappa Phi. Jaclyn and her husband, Michael, have one son who attended Seashore Early Childhood Academy’s after school program, Seashore Learning Center, and Seashore Middle Academy.

Shy Alewine was admitted on the Board in July 2023. Shy earned her bachelors degree at Tarleton State University and her masters degree in educational administration at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi. She was an educator for 12 years serving as a teacher, college and career advisor, and assistant principal during those years. She currently works with Seascape Properties as Director of Operations. Shy and her husband Chance have one son who attends Seashore Learning Center.

Randy Foster was selected to serve on the Board in September 2024. Randy has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Accounting from Eastern New Mexico University and a Masters degree in Criminal Justice from the New Mexico State University. He served as a police officer in New Mexico for 24 years, retiring as the Chief of Police in Bloomfield New Mexico in 2018. He then moved to the Island where he resides with his wife, Shayna, and twin boys, Riley and Spenser, who attend SMA. Randy also serves as Committee Chair for the Island’s Boy Scout Troop, Troop 949.

Sarah Greaud has been a part of the Island Foundation board since Jan 2019, serving on both Seashore Parent Association and the Island Foundation Board as a director and now the Liason. She lives on the island with her husband, two kids and her dog. She is a local realtor at Coastline Properties and owns a portrait photography studio here on the island. She participates in many local groups and clubs and enjoys volunteering at Seashore and around the island community.

Michael York was voted to serve on the Board in February 2022. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Michael is a native of Corpus Christi and is committed to serving our community. He has two sons and one daughter. Two children attend SLC, and one child is at SECA.

Board Meetings
Board meetings are generally held at 6 p.m. in room 109 on the campus of Seashore Middle Academy at 15437 S.P.I.D.
